Jenna, frustrated at her mom for being over-protective, decides to go to a film audition being held at a bowling alley, despite what the fact that her mother has forbidden her to do so. Then, everything goes wrong: She gets chosen to act the main part, the part of the princess. Her mom, surprisingly, gives permission for Jenna to go with the casting crew to the small kingdom of Scandia for the last audition. When she gets to Scandia, there is no filming crew. Jenna is also the spitting image of the princess who has mysteriously gone missing. Things keep getting stranger and more confusing. And people who she thought she could trust might not be quite so trustworthy after all.
I enjoyed Princess Plot. I wasn’t so sure what it was going to be about when I first picked it up, but it turned out to be good. I loved that each time that I thought I knew what was going to happen, the story took a turn in the opposite direction. Not many books can keep me guessing for that long.
