Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

-J. K. Rowling-

Harry Potter is entering into his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And yet again, there is someone out to get him. Sirius Black. Thirteen years ago, the night Harry’s parents were murdered, Sirius Black was convicted of killing a whole street of muggles with a single curse. Dementors, the guards of Azkaban, are stationed all around the school in case Black attempts to come in, but the dementors seem to affect Harry more than anyone else. There is also  a new Defense against Dark Arts teacher who seems to have a few secrets. And then, Harry learns some secrets about Black’s past. Will Harry be able to figure out the truth before it’s too late?

I’ve read this book a number of times, and it is my favourite book in the Harry Potter series. Sirius Black and Remus Lupin are two of my favourite characters, and I think they are well described in this book. I dislike way the Warner Brothers movie portrays Lupin. I found that it completely changes his personality, and it also cuts out a lot of the most important scenes of him. Overall the book is a pretty good read, and if you have only seen the movie, let me tell you, the book is way better.
